The future of Solano Community
College’s theater programs are in jeopardy, and not only because the college is trying to salvage its accreditation.
SCC is facing a budget deficit of about $1.6 million. The theater programs rely on two major funding components, and both could be cut as the college slices into its shortfall.
One component is the funding generated by daily student attendance.
